Electric Boat Experience comes to Sausalito, California
The people who brought you the Lake Berryessa Electric Boat Festival in California’s wine district last May are now presenting the Electric Boating Experience a bit further south in the state, as part of the Sausalito Boat Show.

SeaWatts, which is dedicated to producing “electric boat expos, demonstrations, leadership summits, educational workshops, and consumer events that bring the industry together” has organized a consumer exhibit with a number of boats on water as well as an industry conference.
The conference is on Friday, September 24 while the consumer exhibits will be available through the weekend to the 26th.
Consumers can ride in electric boats from Vision Marine Technologies, Vita Power, Zodiac and Duffy, learn about marine charging infrastructure and waterfront electrification and meet the companies advancing clean, quiet and zero-emission boating.
The Electric Marine Industry Networking day features a Marine Electrification panel with the topic: “Electric Recreational and Commercial Boating Is Here: Building the Vessels and Charging Network, Securing Funding and Understanding Commercial Use Cases”
Opening remarks will be made by Ollie Danner, CEO/Founder of Mare IQ and ZEMA – Zero Emission Marine Accelerator.
The conversation will explore the vessels, propulsion systems and charging infrastructure entering the market; available funding opportunities; real-world recreational and commercial applications; and what the industry needs to scale adoption.
The Panel will be moderated by the Chief Revenue Officer of Charged Marine, Kris Kimble, who will be joined by experts who can give a broad perspective on the electric boat industry in the USA and where it is headed:
