The Soel Shuttle 14 solar electric catamaran presents the perfect vessel for sustainable passenger transport for up to 30 passengers. The 14m electric ferry is authorised for commercial transport and built according to Bureau Veritas passenger vessel standards (approved by Affaires Maritimes as Division 223b).

The hull design of the Soel Shuttle 14 is optimised for maximum efficiency and range. With an installed battery capacity of 106 kWh and 80 kW of motor power from Naval DC the electric shuttle boat is set up for speeds of 14 knots and a range of 45nm at a cruising speed of 9 knots – on battery power only.

However, multiple motor and battery capacity options are being offered. All vessels are build around in house developed electric systems and can be customised to the clients’ requirements. Likewise, the layout of the vessel can be changed to offer the best matching solution. At Soel Yachts the in-house expertise for design, naval architecture and electric system integration exists in perfect symbiosis, equipping the team with the right tools to offer the most reliable and comfortable cruising experience. The technology accomplishes the highest safety ratings and benefits from the experience with more than 500.000 nm logged on the open ocean with solar electric propulsion.
