VETUS offers two solutions for electric propulsion. The E-LINE is a compact shaft drive system, ideal for repowering existing boats and also suitable for new builds with a traditional shaft. The E-POD is an all-in-one electric pod system, perfect for boats where space efficiency and simplicity matter most.

E-LINE Inboards

The VETUS E-LINE inboard electric propulsion system delivers quiet, emission-free power for both existing boats replacing their diesel engine and newly built vessels. Compact in design and easy to install, the E-LINE can be mounted directly on an existing motor foundation using its supplied engine brackets and mounts, making repowering straightforward. At the same time, it is equally well-suited for integration in new-build projects, ensuring reliable performance and a full day of silent cruising.

Within the E-LINE range, you can choose between two versions to match your boat and sailing style:

E-LINE AIR – a compact, air-cooled solution ideal for smaller boats up to 8 meters (26 ft).
E-LINE (fresh water or keel cooling system) – a more powerful and efficient system designed for boats up to 11 meters (36 ft).

Designed for silent and efficient electric boating, the VETUS E-POD combines all propulsion components in one space-saving system. By integrating the motor, cooling, gearbox, shaft, and propeller into a single compact unit, it eliminates the need for a traditional engine box and propeller shaft. This not only creates valuable interior space but also opens up new design possibilities on board. With no rotating or vibrating parts inside the hull, the E-POD provides a smooth, low-maintenance, and eco-friendly propulsion experience – allowing you to enjoy nature in complete silence.
