Plugboats Guide to Electric Boat Exhibitors: Hiswa te Water 2026
Hiswa te Water in the Netherlands is becoming one of the premier shows for electric boats and boating, with almost 50 boat builders, dealers, manufacturers, distributors and retailers of motors, batteries and accessories. The show is being held September 2-6 at the Batavia in Port Lelystad, about 40 km (25 mi) from central Amsterdam.

HISWA is an industry trade group for the Netherlands water sports business. HISWA te Water is their in-water consumer trade show for the water sporting public. It is the largest in-water boat show in Northern Europe and this year has upped its focus on electric boats and propulsion. There a number of new initiatives along with a significantly expanded Green Route of exhibitors working on sustainable boating and Green Tour which offers daily guided tours of these exhibitors.
Electric boating a major component
The electric presence starts right at the entrance of the exhibition, at the stand Duurzaam Varen – the national Sustainable Water Recreation Program – in the first hall. Experts will be there to answer your questions about electric and hybrid systems and also provide take home materials.
The Sustainable Boating Coalition (SBC), made up of companies directly involved in e-boating, will present the the EV Motor Show exhibit in the hall, with an overview of 16 different brands of electric and hybrid motors.
This is also the starting point of the Green Tour, daily guided tours in small groups designed to give visitors a one hour compact and complete overview of the state of affairs in sustainable boating. The Tour visits a selection of 10 exhibitors active in the field of sustainable boating where each will give a few minute presentation on their vision and offerings
Electric Boating Pavilion, Green Route and Green Tour
Outside the hall is the floating Electric Boating Pavilion where SBC members will provide demonstrations of electric drives, batteries, solar panels, and boat monitoring while also guiding you to the electric sloops, sailboats, and motorboats in-water at the show.
At the Fun Park demos are the main attraction and this year will feature electric jet surf boards from Motorsurf and the Esurf, Audi Efoil, and Seabob from World Nautic Center.
Winding throughout the on-land and in-water areas is the flagship Green Route. Conceived of and organized by Dutch electric boat pioneer Marcel Schaap, it was started in 2025 to make it easy for visitors to build their own tour and identify exhibitors who are actively working in zero emission propulsion or other aspects of green boating such as materials.
The participating 80 exhibitors are clearly identifiable on the show’s floor plan, in the entrance hall, in the magazine, and on the Hiswa te Water website. New this year is an interactive plan, allowing visitors to map out their own route.

LiFePO4 Battery Solutions
ACES Energy is a Dutch company specializing in energy storage solutions. Founded in 2015, the company’s name, ACES, stands for Affordable Compact Energy Solutions. Fischer Panda X Molabo serial hybrid system
German electric motor manufacturer Molabo has come together with market-leading genset maker Fischer Panda to unveil a new serial hybrid system that combines Molabo’s high-performance safe-to-touch 48-volt ARIES drive with Fischer Panda’s lightweight and compact AGT-series generators.
The system, which was developed for the racing yacht of Boris Herrmann’s Team Malizia, allows boatbuilders to combine pure-electric operation with generator-assisted cruising, offering flexible and ultra-efficient energy management for long-range or high-demand applications. All components operate at 48 V DC, ensuring safety and ease of installation: no specialized high-voltage certification or equipment required.
Because the entire system remains low voltage, it can be installed by existing trained shipyard staff without slowing production lines. Routine service is equally straightforward: owners retain access to Fischer Panda’s worldwide service network for the gensets, while most marine electricians can safely maintain Molabo’s 48 V ARIES drive. Snoeck: Krautler, Stream
Snoeck Technical Solutions supplies complete electric drives for motorboats, sloops, sailboats, tour boats and ferries. They are the Benelux representative for Krautler electric motors (Germany) and the Stream electric outboards from Sweden. Torqeedo – New Cruise and Travel models, Deep Blue technology
Since the acquisition of Torqeedo by Yamaha two years ago, the company has been refining and streamlining its model lines and recently launched the Cruise 3.0 and 6.0 models, the Travel XS, and a new generation of Deep Blue system components. The big news on the Cruise 3.0 and 6.0 outboards is that they have both been standardized with 48-volt architecture. A new foldable tiller with high-resolution display has integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and full connectivity to the TorqView app that provides users with real-time performance and system data.
In the Travel family itself, Torqeedo introduced the Travel Smart Package that pairs the new Travel XS entry-level model (700W of power) with the new Travel Battery XS (648 Wh of energy storage). The Smart Package is expected to be available early 2026. At the higher power range of the Deep Blue systems (25 – 100 kW), the innovations are within the operating ecosystem. VETUS – E-LINE 22kW Inboard
VETUS, one of the first companies to offer an electric inboard motor for leisure boats, has an E-LINE range of seven electric inboards. Three air-cooled models: the E-LINE Air 7kW and E-LINE Air 5kW with 24 or 48V architecture; and four liquid cooled models: the E-LINE 6kW, 8kW, 11kW and new 22kW.
All motors in the E-LINE range have been designed for easy installation on almost any existing engine mounts or foundations.The supplied Swap & Go mounting brackets, with motor mounts specifically developed for electric propulsion motors, can easily be adjusted in height and set to angle the shaft to 0° or 8°. The SDe electric saildrive offers boat builders, engineers, and refitters a 100% emissions-free option that’s easy to install, use, and maintain. Available in 7kW, 10kW, and 15kW outputs on a 48V platform for day sailors and cruisers up to 40ft, the SDe fits the same engine base as YANMAR’s YM and GM engines with no hull modification required. Boss Boating of Amsterdam will present its Electric Boating Without Charging concept at HISWA te Water. Combining electric propulsion with integrated, walkable solar panels allows the battery pack to be recharged on board during the day, without the boater being dependent on shore power for every charge or having to tow separate batteries. Finnish inventor and skipper Lukas Sjöman demonstrated this summer that solar-powered boating can go much further than an afternoon trip. With his self-built solar-electric yacht Helios 11, he covered approximately 5,700 kilometers from Finland to Ibiza, without fuel and powered by solar energy. During the exhibition, the Commodore 570 Tender will also be located in the Bataviahaven, allowing visitors to view and experience the concept in practice. Boss Boating website
Canna: Electric Boat of the Year Nominee
The CANNA One is a beautiful, compact boat designed for intimate and leisurely cruises. Measuring 5.50 meters in length and 1.94 meters in width, it offers a perfect balance of elegance and functionality. Delphia has their Delphia 10 Lounge, Lounge Top and Sedan versions at the show to demonstrate their concept of mindful cruising: getting back to life’s simple pleasures that allow for connecting with others and reconnecting with yourself: a tranquil stroll, a picnic on the beach, a bike ride, catching up with friends and family over a cup of coffee (or glass of wine). At a speed of 12 kmh (6.5 kt / 7.5 mph) the Delphia 10 Lounge Top model can sail for 2 and 1/2 hours. ESEA: Electric Boat of the Year
ESEA Boats was founded in Amsterdam in 2024 and this is the first public debut of what they have been working on. What we do know is that the ESEA 800 has been designed by a world-renowned super yacht designer and built in one of Sweden’s finest shipyards. It is an 8m (26 ft) fully electric recreational boat that “combines silent power, timeless design, and the engineering precision of the super yacht world.” From looking at the ESEA website it also appears that ‘smart boating’ will be a major part of its appeal, with numerous interfaces and monitors. Helios Omega 7.2 presented by E-WERF
Helios is a Bulgarian company with expertise in every aspect of electric propulsion including marine specific LiFePo batteries and an Internet of Things intelligent onboard control module. At Cannes they will have their flagship e-boat, the Helios Omega 7.2m smart solar electric day cruiser, showing off all of their capabilities in one package. It comes with a variety of motor and battery configurations, each combined with marine solar panels, CCS1 charging port and the Helios Marine Link for real-time monitoring and control. Helios website
Lasai 32KS solar-electric overnighter
Spanish solar electric boat manufacturer Lasai had the range of their 22GL solar-electric model certified by Bureau Veritas this year, racking up a trip of +100 nautical miles over 18 hours on a single charge.
Their latest model – the Lasai 32KS – is a larger boat designed for overnighting instead of day use alone. Using the learning from their smaller models, the designers and engineers used a catamaran design, which creates less drag and water resistance than a monohull and also allows for a wide spacious helm and deck area along with a fully equipped interior cabin with en-suite head.
The designers have done a great job of maximizing all of the space, using clever seating configurations and a layout that emphasizes convenience and boating pleasure. Qrafter: Electric Boat of the Year Nominee
Qrafter electric boats grew out of an electric boat rental business when enthusiastic passengers asked if the boats were available for sale. They now have three models, all of which will be shown at Hiswa te Water: e-Qruiser 680, e-Qruiser 720, e-Qruiser 800S. The e-Qruiser 720 is having its official premiere and it is the first time the new e-Qruiser 800S will be available for viewing up close. The 800S has been nominated for Electric Boat of the Year, and while some details of the high-speed model have been available, but this is the first time consumers will have the opportunity to see it in real life. Stickl
Stickl Yachts started with electric boats in 2008 when they added electric propulsion to a sailing hull, and advanced two years later when they built their first hull specifically designed for electric power. In 2019 they sold their 100th unit of the E-volution model. They now have 4 models of daycruisers equipped with latest amenities. All use the Stickl high efficiency hull with some having a sporty feel while others put more emphasis on comfort. The latest version of the 6.6m (22 ft) E-Volution 730 will be on view at the Hiswa te Water show along with the larger E-Spirit 730 (7.5m / 25 ft) launched in 2020 and shown here. Electric Sailboats
Dufour
Established more than 60 years ago, French boatyard Dufour is now one of the major luxury sailboat manufacturers worldwide, building nearly 400 sailboats each year.
The company is also one of the leaders in building the popularity of electric propulsion on sailboats. They offer 6 models, from 9 to 18 metres, all but one of which are available with electric. The Dufour 41 and Dufour 47 will be on show at Düsseldorf, both of which are available with the company’s ODSea+ electric system including hydro-generation and solar panel. Dufour website
Hanse – Hanse 360
The Hanse 360 brings another model to the successful partnership with designers Berret-Racoupeau, and follows on from the global success of the Hanse 460 and Hanse 410. Conceptually, the 360 is designed to offer the ultimate in comfort and luxury on the water.
A practical and spacious cabin layout is available in two or three formats, all offering an abundance of natural light and the feeling of space . The super hydrodynamic hull provides increased stability and performance and also makes the boat an excellent vessel to take advantage of the electric propulsion option. The 360 is available with a 25kW motor (≈ 40 hp) coupled with either an 18kWh or 36 kWh battery pack. Saffier
When the Saffier SE 33 Life won the European Yacht of the Year Award in 2022, the electric version required a modified hull set up from the version with a Yanmar diesel SailDrive. Now, with the introduction last year of Yanmar electric drives that bolt exactly into the same fittings as their fossil fuel motors, no modifications are required. The electric options is now a Yanmar SDe 10 kW (13.5 hp) drive with lithium battery that matches the output of the standard Yanmar Yanmar 2YM15, and other aspects of the yacht have been updated since 2022 with features like a furling boom, taller carbon mast, inflatable bimini, stainless‑steel hull protection and integrated guardrails. AEQUAR
At Hiswa te Water a new Dutch start-up, AEQUAR Watersports, will present the world’s first electric jet ski, specially developed for children. There are only a few images and facts on the company’s website, but they promise “a completely new boating experience where power, control, and fun come together.
The electric propulsion, controllable speed, and rugged design ensure a unique boating experience.” The child-centric PWC is 100% electric, with a brushless drive that is governed to not exceed a speed of 13 km/h. It has a marine-grade buoyant hull and tethered kill-switch the rider can find without looking. The company also says it is “A first machine the way a first bike used to be.” All will be revealed at Hiswa te Water. AEQUAR website
